I am the latter type, though I might hem and haw if you ask me.
But a significant portion of more than 1,000 real estate professionals and 30,000 readers of Washingtonian Magazine agree. When asked who they’d recommend as their loan officer, enough selected me to land in the top ranks—a major feat considering that the question related to customer service rather than mortgage loan volume.
I have been honing my customer service skills as a mortgage loan officer for almost two decades. Today I practice the concept with my co-workers at McLean Mortgage, a mortgage company focused, as I am, on what’s best for every borrower.
Although I specialize in helping first-time homeowners buy their dream homes, I also find great joy in helping military families find communities where they can lay down roots. In addition to serving first-time buyers and veterans, I also handle purchases and loan refinances for repeat buyers. In terms of geography, I serve people in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania.
I grew up on Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia, home of the Old Guard. My father was a Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army, my mother was a pre-school teacher on base.
To give back to the world, I support several organizations, including the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and World Vision, through which I sponsor a child. When I'm not working, you’ll find me traveling with friends, strumming guitar, binge-watching TV, and rooting for my beloved Green Bay Packers.
